We have a new date for our AGM, postponed from 21st March, which will now be held online for the first time.
About this Event
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 18th July from 10am – 11.30am.
We’ll have brief presentations on the charity’s activities over the past year, with reports from our Chair, our Executive Officer and our Treasurer, as well as representatives from Give a Kidney Scotland.
After the AGM business has been concluded, there will be time allowed for short presentations from Lisa Burnapp* and Paul Gibbs**. These will centre on Covid-19 and its impact on the kidney transplantation programme and will be followed by a short Q&A session.
An agenda for the meeting and a link to join through Zoom will be sent in due course to attendees who have registered through Eventbrite. Please register here if you wish to attend.
Do be aware that this is our postponed AGM, not our annual Conference. It will allow us to fulfil our statutory obligations as a charity, including, we hope, passing a resolution to change the form of the charity from an Unincorporated Association to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Foundation).
We hope to be able to arrange our full annual Conference later in the year, either online or in person.
*Lisa Burnapp: Clinical Lead Living Donation NHS Blood and Transplant; Consultant Nurse, Living Donor Kidney Transplantation Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust; Vice President, British Transplantation Society
**Paul Gibbs: Consultant Vascular and Transplant Surgeon, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust
