Calling themselves ‘The Squeezed Oranges’, a group of eight pensioners all of whom have donated a kidney in the last three years, they were guests at a lunch party given by one of them at the Walberton home of Cherry Williams, 68, who gave her kidney in 2014. Also attending were Judi McGetrick, 68, and Nicholas Crace, 86, (both 2012), Susanne Dadswell, 68, and Janet Hope, 70, (both 2013), Sue Day, 68, (2014), Trish Bailey, 70, (2015) and Jane Shorrock, 82, (2015).
